The Angel of Mythical Deadlines
I am intrigued with the emphasis put on the mythical deadline of Christmas. Most businesses, including ourselves run our business to a financial year calander but still the end of year calendar makes us run around like turkeys with our heads cut off!!
What did Douglas Adams say, ' I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.'
What will happen if it is not done by Christmas. Will the Angel of Deadlines come down from the sky and smite us? Will the locusts fly? Will we have to put the blood of the sacrificial deadline lamb on the door so as to avert certian death and destruction?
Keep your heads about you, my friends. The sky will not fall in, the rivers will not flood and the earth will not crack if you need to push things out for your sanity a little.
Instead laugh a little, do what makes you happy and does not hurt anyone else and never say 'yes' if you don't really mean it!
