Wishing well
I had a satori moment on Friday night, when I realised I have been asking for the wrong thing for quite a long time. So on Saturday night, I did a lovely little ritual and meditation to ask differently and from a completely reverse perspective. There is a lovely moment in the book Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman, where a woman, who is so torn up inside from her love for a man, asks for him to love him completely. The spell is cast but the man become obsessed to the point at her life is miserable and she loses her voice, her power and eventually her sanity. What should she have wished for? To be free of the love for this man. To be free, to be free, to be free!
It is easy to think that the love requited or more money in the bank is gonna make your troubles disappear. Instead, reframe what you are asking for. I think freedom is always a great place to start. Ask for release from what is pressing on your heart. Do not think what you know how to solve your problems, ask purely for release and let the Universe decide how this will come to you.

I have just surrendered to this strange day. A house full of kids, trying to work in my little office - not really doing either very well. Tried to stay calm, lost the plot and then went outside and said to the sky - I surrender, I surrender - then remembered I have a freezer of party pies,now calmly heating party pies for the short ones - the Universe assists in unusual ways. xxx
