Mercury Retrograde Alert
Yep, its that time of the year again. Mercury Retrograde. Avoid contracts, new appliances and important appointments. While talking to a dear friend recently, who was fretting about having to find a new home while Mercury was retrograde, I reminded her about free will. The stars do not control your ultimate decisions and success or failures. You do. You make your choices, (although for years I been blaming my being overweight on my Jupiter in Sagittarious).The Placement of Chubby!
There are patterns laid out according to the data based on years of studies of when certain planets are in certain positions. The statistics say that there are chances of particular patterns or behaviours happening at this time. You though, decide or determine whether or not this is will occur.
When I had my life threatened last year, albeit subtly to my son in the playground at school, which is fast beoming the school of choice for nefarious characters - hereafter known as Underbelly Grammer. I had Jupiter Square Pluto transit at this time. Astro advice for this transit was "Avoid underworld or shady persons in any matters!" (Note to self- look at other schools!) A bit hard to avoid them in the drivway at school, but you take what you get! Now that was a crazy prediction, I thought I was living a parallel existence.
Astro can be tricky though. One of my dear friends who is fighting a debilitating illness at the moment has the illness in her chart. It's there and she ain't even into the astro, so she would not have known about it. I do see a shift by 1st January though, if she can hang on that long and not lose her mind from pain and boredom.
So my point is and I think I have one, some things we can avoid, some we can't. The bigger astro lessons are hard to duck. But the small ones like buying a new dishwasher or choosing a flat, I think you can handle. Trust your gut, buy sensibly and if the deal seems to good to be true then it usually is!
