Hex, hex go away

I was driven to dig all the thistles out of my front lawn yesterday. Not sure why, I just wanted to get rid of them. I started late in the day as the sun was lowering in the sky. I finished just as it set. So many thistles, bloody everywhere!

Reading up last night I understand that thistles are vital to breaking a hex. They seem to have more of healing properties and protection energies when they are not in the ground.

I love it when are drawn to work with that which has deep symbolism in history over time. Did I feel a hex? Maybe. Certainly a negative energy for a while, a long while. I hope my thistle pulling creates greener grass and softness underfoot.

Off to deliver a proposal on the coast. Lovely day for a hex free drive.
