Look closer
The women modelling in this picture is a relative from eons ago. Her name is is Keomi Gray. The Great Aunt of my Great(4) Grandmother - Drusilla Gray. On my fathers side is pure, 100% romany gypsy blood. This thrills me more than you can imagine, finally a reason for my love of esoteric and shiny, pretty things. It may also explain my love for Stevie Nicks.
Investigating my family tree has been eye opening and amazing. Lovely moments that resonate deep within me and tell me of the incredible risks and faith my relatives had to have to make what I have possible.

When I was yonger I wanted to grow up to BE Stevie Nicks (minus the cocaine addiction), it didn't come to frutition, but I still love her AND I touched the hand of the Great One at one of her concerts.... Must look into my gypsey background.....Mmmm .xx

LOL that's awesome =) I have also been investigating my roots and am trying to assess the nationality of my great grandmother. We know she was either Spanish or Latin something, wore flashy jewelery, read tea leaves and was a great artist with a big heart.

Kate, I think we may be distantly related! My great, great grandfather Felix Gray had a sister Drusilla Gray (who married into a Forster family) and my albeit limited family tree research also strongly suggests a gypsy background. Feel free to drop me an email.
