Manifesting

If you could have any job in the world, regardless of qualification or time, what would you be? I asked this of friends the other night and I was interested to see the struggle they had in trying to articulate this for themselves.

I think about what I want to be and do and have and create and give all the time. I am constantly creating my reality, good and even bad sometimes. I think that to be open to receiving you have to allow yourself the fun of playing the manifestation game. The' What Would You Be' game opens yourself to possibility. I read that playing, "What could I do if I won the lottery' game, is actually very good for you psyche. It forces you to think and ponder about a positive future. Would you be altruistic or selfish, or maybe a little of both. Don't get me wrong, I know that money does not make you happy but it does give you choices and options, which is lovely.

I play both of these games with Gandalf regularly. I would be a world class surgeon (I know, its my saint complex). Gandlaf would be Hip Hop record producer, complete with a white yacht and a white suit. Bless.

Homework task for the day:

* Think to day, what job would your have, if intellect or money were no option?

* What would you do with $12 million?

Discuss.

Bless Gandalf, I see him on the white yacht. I would want to be a fabulous singer and performer like "Pink" - if it was 15 years ago I would have been Stevie Nicks my adolescent idol. I would live in a beautiful house complete with pool and amazing gardens, an oasis from the world. I would be able to help friends and family and I would LOVE to set up a free veterinary clinic where people could have their animals spayed for nothing so there would be less strays and heartache in the animal kingdom. Funnily enough, though, whenever I go on these "imagine" trips I am inevitably lead back to one very amazing and basic wish. As long as my beautiful boy is healthy and happy, the rest is really just "stuff".... great stuff but meaningless without the other. $12 million, mmmmm, I'd probably go away to a fabulous condo on the beach in Maui and think long and hard about it all. I would also love to learn to surf, and ride the waves on the Bonsai pipeline in Hawaii.... Gidget anyone?? xx

Stones Green Ginger Wine was the evil brew that I consumed the first time I got drunk. Just to think of it now makes me shudder.

I would live in my dream Practical Magic home with lots of cats, grow vegies and strawberries, have midnight feasts and yoga/swim classes on the beach and write whatever the hell i pleased...probably only need about 1 million for that. I'd use the rest to make a writer's retreat in the style of Arthur Boyd for creative types...

i have always wanted to be a fireman. not having a truck drivers license kept me out when i was 19 and i've strayed too far from that path to wander back now.

I get that. Gandalf also harboured that dream as a wee lad.Being a Fireman is a noble and brave profession. For the truly altruistic. You would have been a good fireman.

Actually I play the prosperity game every day which I highly recommend. Check this out, yo:

Every day you get a check from the universe to spend virtually. Every day I pretend to have thousands of dollars! In my mind I live in swank beachfront luxury hotels with views of crystal blue water and white sands. Ahhh serenity.
