Critical point

Everyday I just get up and do it. This is the only way I can get through the schedule. The schedule is getting even more hectic next week with work and work related events 4 nights next week and 2 massive proposals due. I suppose I should just shut the hell up and not even blog about it but really? It is almost too much. So, I shut up and do.

I take this moment though, to ask myself WTF? November was always going to be frantic. The critical point of doing it, doing it and still being in cash challenge mode is hard. Remind me gain why I do this sometimes? I am also tired as I am single mother at the moment, with two kids and a business and deadlines, uggghhh, I am boring myself.

The one things I always said when I started this blog years ago, was that I was going to be honest. Just 'cos I wrote a book does not mean I have all the answers all the time! The book is my anchor for days like this. So today, I treat myself kindly and stay present. One day at a time, one task at a time, one breathe at a time.

Ommmm.

Later.

Oh I so know how you feel. But this year we are in the opposite position. No work coming in and no major deadlines and still the cash challenge. Have just had to put off our 2 staff and are working at trying to make the business work with just the 2 of us (husband & wife). The blessing in all this is at least we have the time to think and plan for the business to make it well again. Your book and thinking is definitely making a huge difference to our future plans - so thank you!!! Remember the old saying Physician heal thyself - seems to apply to us all in times of stress.

Do the daily ritual and make sure you take a walk today and sit in nature for even just 10 minutes to re ground yourself. Even though it seems impossible it is the most important thing you can do for yourself to get some perspective back. Namaste

Thanks Jenni, it is super hard for some out there at the moment. There is something refreshing though about getting back to basics. An organic, flexible, lean business. For a while there I let others dreams and goals influence me too much and now I am back to basics. This is the theme for my 2009 - Lean, flexible and fit. Now, if I could just get this to reflect in my own body.........

Sure it has been hard but we see it as very positive moves forward and will definitely make us more flexible. I can really relate to letting others dreams and goals influence my business - I can now see where we are going more clearly and feel free to make the changes we need to make. While we are doing a Business Detox we are doing a Body Detox - that should help with the body..... Bring on 2009 and new directions filled with light and love.

Word, sister. In the same rowboat on a smaller scale up here. Condo repairs are finally starting but to "upgrade" a few small features is costing me more than I have. But I can't afford NOT to invest in them or I can't sell for what I need to to break even. Oy with the slow cash strangulation and nose to the grindstone. And a Taurus full moon eh? No sh*t... !!!! I can feel it already..
