Spiritual Business

Cloudy head

The Grand Trine and the winds and rain in Melbourne, blew up all sort of merde on the weekend.

As we near to the end of the year, I am still working on letting go of certainty and living with not knowing what will happen next. This is always my struggle. As a Taurus, I think I have to know, I hate surprises, even nice ones and I am generally a control freak. This year has done much to throw up a few meteors and tell me that I cannot know anything and nothing will go according to the plans I have made in my head.

It is hard not to lose faith in such times, but this is faith. Knowing that whatever happens you will be looked after and nurtured even though life is so uncertain.

Life has always been uncertain and will continue to be so. It is what keeps us humble and is all part of the human experience. The gift of living with uncertainty, whether your situation is a drama or a comedy, a miracle or an ending, what matters is how much we open ourselves to learn more about ourselves. More about our experiences and what we can be and become in the face of doubt.

Hello,

I like your title "Spiritual Business." I guess my first question is how do you define "spiritual business?" Once defined, I believe you will find that it alleviates uncertainty. Doubts and fears creep in when one's focus is on "human business." The foundation for spiritual business is "being about my Father's business" as stated by Jesus. That business is expressing divine qualities which stabilize, encourage and guide.

Perhaps I have that "need to know" from my Taurus mom. Overall, though, I find all experiences- whether challenging or rewarding- bring growth and lessons. I so look forward to 2009. Whatever it holds!
