Dog Day Afternoon

My crazy puppy has been coming to work to spend time with us in the office. It is funny having a dog at work. He is only a baby still, so it is good for him to be around people. I like having him at work. He is good company and there is something about the energy a dog brings which is so in the moment. I should have named him Tolle, after Eckhart.

Dogs lift morale and lower stress, which is lovely for everyone. Although my puppy constantly getting into peoples bins is annoying for everyone. Sorry peeps. I did ask around whether he would be welcome at work, not just push my dog onto people. He seems to be quite the team member. Bless his little furry socks.

Random act of the day: Create a Creation Box as recommended by Abraham Hicks. Read more here: http://www.whatanicewebsite.com/Connee/creationbox.htm

I always read these things and then don't do it. I wonder if it is because I am not really sure what I want. This morning while looking at a fave website (see here), I was overwhelmed with a desire to be in Paris with Gandalf. Strange, considering we have never been to Paris together before. Well, pictures of Paris will be the first thing I throw into my creation box.

It is hard to know what you want with the white noise of life crowing about you. More than just trips and material items, most people I know want peace of mind. A clear conscience and a sense of purpose. This is what I shall put in my box. The trips to Paris and the rest are just some fun on journey.

Later.

Yes white noise. I had (briefly) peace this morning. Oddly I achieve my state of zen while "doing". Cleaning the house, putting things in order, just me and the cats, in a state of quiet, steady, everything has a home mode. The sun was shining in the window lighting up the new (to me) hardwood floors I now enjoy. I had a moment of calm, happy, belongingness and peace.

May you all have that today. Allow me to pass it on.
