Let it happen

I am handing my day over to the powers of syncronicity. Hands off and letting go of the outcome. It's actually quite nice to not control.

One of the struggles with spirituality is always trying to meld or bend the universe to what we think we want. All in the name of 'manifesting.'

When things don't go our way and suddenly we are angry, lose faith. "This is not what I asked for!" Did you ever stop to think that there is a bigger plan at work?

Things aren't going the way you want because there are stronger forces at work. The world is creaking and groaning to turn a certain way to send you things and you have your back turned and refuse to see because it doesn't look the way you wanted.

I am unsure of what the world is sending my way.  I have, however, turned my face towards the light. I look forward to receiving the gifts in whatever form they come.

There is an exercise from Esther Hicks of the Law of Attraction world, who suggests that you get a piece of paper.

Draw a line down the centre.

On the left hand side write what you have to do that day.

On the right hand side write a list of what you would like the Universe to take care of for you.

This way you know what you want and you are telling the world. You understand what you can do and what you must let go of to allow things to work out the best way possible for you and your life. The world is very mysterious. Truth is stranger than fiction. The craziest things happen when we let them.

I am off to write my list.
