Friends
I was thinking about friends. I was thinking about someone whom I am no longer friends with. I started to go onto this path, she started to go onto another path. It was destined to fail. No one path is right or wrong they are just different and they have never converged since.
My closest friends are ones with whom I share the journey. Not all of them are 'spiritual' but they are all without ego and if they have something to say they can say it to my face. They are courageous and inspiring.
I have had some crazy days with some of them laughing and solving the problems of the world, one has come into my life - pushed by a sister who has since passed on - knowing we would amuse and nurture each other. One has come to me through the friend mentioned above and another through trains and travelling since teenage years. Some through my children and one through my words. Each of them are special and have held my hand through the best and worst of times.
At the moment I am feel like I am embarking on a new journey. I have no idea where it will send me. Who knows where I will end up, but I know for sure that my friends will be there with me.
I am blessed.
