Much ado about something
I awoke this morning with work on my mind. There are things to do and I am not much in the frame of mind for them. What's the solution?
Suck it up and get it done. There is something incredibly satisying about getting things done, particulalrly if you are aren't in the zone.
The best way to move forward is to just do it and don't procrastinate about why you have to do it or what a pain in the butt it is to complete. i always feel like I have conquered my ego when I finish something I didn't want to start.
We are suurounded by ways to make our daily tasks easier: lists, computers, PDA's etc. I think that they can create more work for us, then we have to think about all of the bullshit that goes with the lists, compuers and PDA calendars. Have a plan for the day on what you want to achieve and what you can get done and just do it.
Too simple?
Not really. Turn down the drama and focus. Let nothing in but the task at hand and give over.
