Peace and other distractions
Small man is at school and I have the day to write and be. A few small errands to run but nothing that is pulling at my aprons strings too much.
I have to sit and force myself to be present and write, I am easily distracted you see, I blame Uranus in my third house. Meanwhile my house calls me to clean it, but I am trying to ignore. It is easy to fall into 'jobs' when you are searching for distraction.
Be a rock not a tree, the universe tells me, don't get swung by the wind. The wind will bring all sort of distractions and tasks, I must learn to be present and stone faced.
I read about a writer who writes at the library everyday, without photos, internet connection or music, all her laptop can do is work. My computer is filled to bursting with such said diversions and it takes willpower to not play with new itunes playlists, read blogs or make photobooks of my kids throughout the years.
Even this blog is a pastime I am using to divert myself. Stop talking, start working, it says to me. So I shall.

Oh how i relate to this about being distracted..!! Am reading your book and about to start on my journey of having my own business.. now to stop all other distractions!! and keep the mind focused on one step at a time....
