Kua and Milk Please
Feng Shui is a tricky practise. There is Traditional Feng Shui and New Age Feng Shui. The Traditional practise is more scientific, energy based, that works best of you know your best directions in Feng Shui for certain areas of your life, that harness the Feng Shui energy.
Last night I went on a Feng Shui rampage through my house, finding my personal power centre and activating different areas for myself and Gandalf.
To find you number you must:
Step 1. Add the last two digits of your year of birth (or of the person whose kua number you are calculating.) In the example we have chosen the result will be 6 8 = 14. Bring it to a one digit number by adding the two digits 1 4 = 5. So, by using our example of the year of birth 1968, the number we calculated in Step 1 is 5.
Step 2. If you are calculating the kua number for a female: Add number 5 to the number from Step 1 (5). So, in our example we have 5 5 = 10. Bring it to a one digit number by adding the two digits 1 0 =1
From this you then look at the charts to find your lucky directions -
Theer are different ways to activate your areas and deflect bad energies. You will find you are either an East person or a West person.
EAST Group: Kua Number 1, Kua Number 3, Kua Number 4, Kua Number 9
WEST Group: Kua Number 2, Kua Number 5, Kua Number 6, Kua Number 7, Kua Number 8.

Fascinating! I'm a one, and I've always used the directions in the chart for affirmations etc - how odd. Just made sense to me to ask for things to come from the east, where the sun rises from and things start from... And south is passion (south seas, warm, sexy tropics?) and north is "the top" like your head is on your body...lol. Hmmm who knew! Thanks DW!
