The Hangover of 2009

Starting a new decade is never easy. We have moved into 2010 with blurry eyes and a dull ache in whatever part of our body we are the most vulnerable.

Just like when we Mercury goes direct, it takes a little time to kick start the connection and the communication. The fact we had a Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse on the New Years Eve tells you to wait until the 15th or even the 17th of January to get this year started.

A waning moon in Mercury Retrograde is never a good time to do anything but let go and let the right one in for you, whomever and whatever that is.

Meanwhile, I am looking forward to the middle of January, sort of. I am often troubled by the idea of a New Year and our expectations around it. The fact that time is man made and our calculations are pretty much a shot in the dark, makes me wonder if there is such a thing as a minute, an hour, a day, a week, a month and year.

What if the minute is our life time? Each persons time is unique and their understanding of it is based on their worldly experinces.

Yes, I ramble and yes, I could be crazy, but what the hell, this is my blog and I will wax bullshit of I wanna! * sticks tongue out at computer screen.

Later.

I get you! Whenever I'm on a plane i muse on how we made up time. Seriously, what about that place where there's only day some parts of the year and only night some others?
It's just words we give things...boundaries so that our head can understand them
