Get out of the way

A full moon in Leo is upon us on Saturday night. This is the perfect time for cleaning up your altar. A new altar cloth, some candles, a spruce up for your spiritual centre. Always a good to do but even better in a Leo moon. Honour the Fire Moon and bling your altar with some pretty shiny crystals, sequins and mirrors. A gold and red candle is perfect.

Things to cast for: Expansion, love, success and authority, courage and fertility.

One of the best ways to get to where you want is to remove your obstacles that lay in the path ahead of you.

Take three white candles, a picture of Ganesh and a washed obsidian crystal.

Place cleansed obsidian in front of the candles. State these or similar words:

“By the light of darkest night,
Bring my obstacles into sight.
I overcome these barriers by my successful might.
So mote it be!”

Focus on the obsidian. Mentally open yourself to your obstacles. Claim ownership of the obstacles, and trace them back to their roots. Address the shadows or the lessons that these obstacles represent and learn from what they say to you.
