How do you know?
Sometimes we know things, things that exist in the ether before we get there in life.
I was watching the 7 Up series from America. One of the little seven year old boys said he would like to live in Milwaukee when he was bigger. When they revisited him at fourteen, guess where he was living? Yep, Milwaukee.
How did he know that? As a child we have no say in where we live, go to school yet he intuitively knew were would be.
I wonder about this as I think about my own life. I have known things before they happened. Pregnancies, illness and love. I usually dream things, precognative dreaming it is called in psychology. I know enough not to question it now. There is a feeling that comes when I wake up that comes from a different place of knowing.
Visceral, not intellectual but intuitive and I have learned to stop questioning and accept what is and what will be.
Trust where and when you get the signs. I have received so many signs about a recent project that I had to write them in a notebook. Pages of them and when I read them back, I laugh at myself even questioning them. I was in the flow. Now they start again for another project I am about to begin.
The tide in in and I am going where the flow takes me.

For me, knowing is when there is no hesitation or doubt in what I do, say or act out.
In times when I can't decide and there is hesitation then I know it's not right for me and to wait before acting.
It has taken a long time to realise this and I still sometimes act when I should 'do nothing' but I'm getting better at it all the time...:-)

I like your personal responsibility Emily. This is a great example of working through karmic issues that will keep occurring in our lives until master them.
I too am guilty of acting out when I should have shut my yap but we live and learn I guess.
