Crazy maze
Thank god I had a decent weekend with Blessed, Ram-Beau and the Cherub, because today was a bitch wrapped up in a thorny blanket. Somedays are like this and I am trying to stop myself from heading back to the ledge.
I managed to get away and head to the country with friends and family. You know they are true friends (which I had no doubt about anyway) when you can wear your oldest clothes, eat weird food combinations with no judgement and totally be yourself, in everyway.
So I am back here in the minefield and hoping and taking action, always a good combination. The list seemed endless today and yet I know things will change again. they always do.
Stress busters I am working with right now include:
Cleaning house - In every way. Staying in the moment as I move form task to task
Listening to music - When I learned to drive, my instructor put on classical music. I still find it soothing in traffic and in my everyday life.
Creating new affirmations - Affirmations, when practiced deliberately and regularly, reinforce a chemical pathway in the brain, making the connection between two neurons stronger, and therefore more likely to conduct the same message again.
Rewire your brain and change your life.
I know so many who are going through so much at the moment and yet they inspire me with their grace under fire. Life isn't fair, I worked that out many years ago. All we can do is try to get through and do our best.
